Karl Emergency Vehicles upfits commercial vehicles to the needs and standards of customers all over the state of Iowa and surrounding areas.
We specialize in being able to accomplish all of your up fit needs under one roof. Although we are a part of the Karl Chevrolet family of businesses we work on almost all makes and models. If you or your company has a vehicle that needs bumpers, lights, sirens, or any other up fit accessory we can get the job done quickly, efficiently, and with quality second to none.
Back in 2011 Karl Chevrolet noticed a need for emergency vehicle installs, so we began to upfit vehicles at our main dealership. That first year we realized how big of a demand there was for quality builds and we began to run out of space for all of our projects.
In 2012 we opened a separate space at 5936 NE Industry Drive to have more room for the growing amount of vehicles we had coming in. This space worked for a while as the demand for full builds and turnkey vehicles kept growing.
In 2017 we expanded yet again into a bigger facility complete with a full showroom and larger shop, right across the street from the last location! We welcome visitors to come and walk through the shop at any time and learn more about what we do.
